Continuing With Decluttering

February 7th, 2010 at 04:23 am

I was inspired by the 30 in 30 Days Challenge and have continued to declutter. Today, I got rid of an old cd player/radio combination unit that hasn't worked for years. I have no idea why I still had it sitting in my bedroom. Since I rarely used it, I don't see a need to replace it.

I also got rid of a pair of courduroy pants that my dh held up to fold after laundering. We could see daylight through them, so we threw them out. I will have to replace them on my next payday.

it's possible you might not even need to replace them, if you're anything like the majority of the population, each member of your family might have enough clothes to not miss a pair of pants Big Grin

I love decluttering. I don't think I have hoarding tendencies, but "stuff" do pile up pretty quickly around me. It always feels good after a good "decluttering".

Congrats on continuing the decluttering. I've always thought it is a continual process. I like to keep a box or bag open and ready for donations when I come across something. I also have several bins filling up with garage sale items. Of course, there is always the trash can!

I have an old VCR and have no idea if it works. I brought it down from the attic during that challenge and intended to hook it up to a TV to see if it works (so then I'd try selling it) but it's still sitting around!

I don't think i have much clutter, but still, I love to get rid of stuff i don't need.
