Is this different than some of us writing them (usually taking too long) and then losing them? I've gotten into the habit of copying my text before I submit the entry. Sometimes it posts, other times I have to start a new entry and paste the text into it and hit submit. It always seems to post at that point.
I save mine as a draft as I go. Then I edit the draft. I have never lost an entry when I do it that way. But just writing until I am done, then hitting "publish"? I have lost many an entry that way.
I don't think I spent a long time typing it, but I typed it, clicked submit, and it was just gone. I guess I will start typing them in Notepad, copying and pasting, and then submit.
You can just select all the text in your entry and do a Ctrl-C copy right before you click to submit. If it disappears, just start a new entry, paste in, and try again. I haven't lost an entry in a long time using this method. (Except when I accidentally click the "back" button or something!)
There's also a browser plugin called Lazarus that stores your text and will resurrect it with a right-click if you lose an entry -- it's saved me many times!
